Research
Crop biofortification. Identification of genes/ genetic traits influencing quality and nutritional traits in staple crops (sorghum, sweetpotato). Development of markers for quality/nutrition breeding.
Career Goal
Develop improved crop varieties that contribute towards food nutrition and security in Sub-Saharan Africa.
